Morton Action Sports is applying for the RCO Youth Athletic Facilities grant to help fund a skate park in Morton, WA. To qualify for state and government grants, non-profits must be at least 3 years old.

We are asking the City of Morton to sign as the applicant in order to qualify for this funding.

We worked really hard on the Youth Athletic Facilities application, which can be reviewed on the agenda, along with complete information on the project so far (pages 21-27):

This particular grant has a great chance considering the approved Morton Parks & Recreation Open Spaces plan from December 2024 has 24 instances in the plan mentioning the need and want for a skate park in our community.
